Frequently Asked Questions

Occupational Therapist focus on helping people do the things they want and need to do throughout their day. For children and teenagers these tasks can include self care tasks, socialising with others (building friendships), engaging at school, playing, etc.

For young adults, these tasks can include cooking and domestic tasks, socialising (Building friendships), community access etc.

No you don’t need a referral to see an OT.

Our initial appointments take 90 minutes. This allows us to gain a full understanding of your medical history, goals, current barriers and develop a plan to work towards your goals.

Regular sessions are typically 50minutes + 10minutes of clinical note taking.

At current we are a mobile service, meaning we don’t have an office so session typically occur in the home. In some instances sessions can occur in the community (e.g. At a local library or park). Please contact us to discuss potential options

After your session, we email you or your Plan Manager an invoice with payment details. We ask that you put the invoice number or the clients name in the reference section. If you need help or have any questions, please feel free to contact us

All Occupational Therapy services that are cancelled with less than 2 business day’s notice (or within 48 hours) will be invoiced at 70% of the services total price.

Please note that if you submit a complaint anonymously online, we will not be able to follow up with you regarding what actions we are taking to address your concerns.
